Knock sensor location on 88 s10 blazer
I have a sensor dangling near my driveshaft that is not hooked up to anything. The closest thing I could find in any of my manuals is the knock sensor. My book shows this sensor as being located near the oil filter on the block. I have removed the oil filter and moved my fingers around the area to feel for anything resembling an opening with no luck. The motor is the 2.8 V6. Any help in locating a home for this sensor would be welcome

Re: Knock sensor location on 88 s10 blazer
Knock sensors are usually installed in the block drain plug holes.
Have a good look and you should see the knock sensor. If plugin does not snap on it get a new plugin. Good luck MT
