Re: ignition switch
Sounds like you need a new ignition switch. Its not as intimidating as it sounds. I have an 85 s10 5 spd and its really simple. mark and remove the steering wheel. remove the clock spring and the phillips head screw that holds the switch into place. slide it out and reinstall in reverse order. when u put your steering wheel back on make sure its in the same position as when u took it off or your alignment will never be on again. thats why u mark before u remove
