HmmmmmmI test drove a nissan 350z track model 6spd mt and to me for its 287hp the car is totaly underpowered its pickup is weak and the tourqe is strong but to me theres not enough power to the wheels i think they went to far with the gear racio but the automatic is a winner i but the z in the auto over the mt anyday !!!! |

hah, check out the post on MT vs Auto on this board.. this has been discussed to death, literally..
to sum it up in one line - buy what you like. the auto has a torque converter which makes it feel like more power, but in reality its just storing up that power than releasing it (hence the lag). track times don't lie, the 6MT is much faster 0-60, but most people won't notice that with a daily driver.. and make no mistake, both are plenty fast. i've go tthe 6MT and am very happy. i like stick and just think its more fun and sporty.. i didnt really do it for the increased speed.

i'd hate to bring back that debate again.. anyway, test drive both and buy the one you like. can't argue about that.
