Unhappy 22" wheels RUB

HELP
I have recently mounted a set of 22" Oasis B1's with Toyo proxes on my escalade, i notice two different sounds as s result of these new wheels.
I notice a rubbing sound in the inside of the wheel well when i turn a low speeds which i assume can be fixed by trimming the insided moulding and more importantly i notice a disturbing sound like metal bar being bent when i stop a bit more abruptly,

I want to know if anyone esle has experienced the same problems and how they can be resolved.

Thanks

The wheels are 22"x9
tires 305x45x22
I'm not sure of the offset but I can always find out.
I believe the rubbing inside the wheel well is the a piece inside that can be filed down.
But the disturbing one is the one that sounds like brakes grinding which i confirmed that it is not

well this is an easy problem to fix ....

OE tire size
265/70-17 = 31.6" diameter

your current tire size
305/45-22 = 32.8" diameter

the correct 22" tire size
305/40-22 = 31.6" diameter

can you see what the problem is now ?????

the problem is the wrong tire size

What should be done if i already have the wrong tire size. Should i shave the plastic that is rubbing? What do u think a shop should charge for somthign like that? O and when i went to a body shop to see what he could do he said i could have someone adjust the suspenion and it would stop the rubbing... what do u think aobut that?

Better to trim plastic molding than adjusting the suspension it trimming will take care of the problem. By adjusting suspension, shop probably means lowering the truck which may make the truck ride harder.

As for getting it done I would recommend contacting one of our local installers by going to the following link:

If they cannot directly help you on this they may be able to recommend a local shop.
