maurauder wheels on an2000 gm

im looking at a 2000 gm with merauder wheels on it but the seller said there is a slight vibration in the steering, even after he put wheel spacers on it , but no vibration with the factory wheels ,which also come with the car......are the bigger wheels compatable / safe on this car..he's been driving it like this for a few years.thanks

It's probably the wheel spacers that are the cause of the vibration.

The bigger wheels are safe but used with wheel spacers will cause greater suspension & wheel bearing wear.

The wheel spacers are being used because the Marauder wheels have different offset specs.

It is best to have wheels with the correct specs for that particular vehicle.

I do not consider a top end engine swap (cylinder heads & intake) a "quick mod".

Did you put the cylinder heads & intake on your Grand Marquis?

Do you still recommend the head swap as a "quick mod"?
