03 Bettle Driver Air Bag

Have an 03 New Bettle with deployed driver air bag. Can anyone help
on procedure to remove from steering wheel. Have been unable to tell
what type of bolt head is used to mount or what type of tool is required
to reach up in the small hole to access. Also interested in procedure to
re-install both driver and passenger air bags; and what other components
are needed. THANKS FOR THE REPLY!

My Haynes shows a flat bladed screwdiver inserted up that hole to unclip a locking lug which then enable the bag to be removed. This is after you've followed lots of safety procedures etc etc. It may pay you to get a manual as you will need it to reactivate the new airbag plus it will pay for itself in no time. I got mine off Ebay for $45 Australian but they have them on CD for much less.
