Heater Core Help Needed!!!

I am attempting to replace my heater core on my 96 blazer and i have removed all the panels underneath the dash and i have removed the bolts on each side by the doors, i have also removed the bolts underneath the speaker covers and defrost cover. I am still missing something though because my dash still will not fold down.....any hely would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Heater Core Help Needed!!!

There is 9 insturment panel support bolts.
4 under the defrost cover.
1 under insturment panel after you drop steering column.
1 to the right of lower center of dash.
1 one left side
2 on right side.
Have you lowered/droped the steering column?

Look around up in the how to section to for more info on it.

Re: Heater Core Help Needed!!!

You will have to drop the steering column and should be another bolt on top.
Good luck
MT.

Re: Heater Core Help Needed!!!

Remove the whole steering column and it is easier this way with more room to work with. The advantage is you do not break the hazard button off and I have seen my father do this with him cussing.
