dies when you give gas

I am having trouble with a 1994 mazda protege. The car starts without a hitch but as soon as I give it gas, it shuts right off. I have changed the fuel pump, the fuel filter, and the air intake sensor. I have checked the spark plugs, and checked for loose connections, etc. but still nothing. It's driving me crazy Any ideas anyone??

Do you mean the MAF or MAP sensor. Not sure which that one has, or do you mean the air temp sensor on the air box?
