Halfshaft Installation Help
I have already put the new shafts in, I havent driven the car yet, because I don't feel sure that I have the shafts all the way into the tranny. There is about 3/16" of an inch showing before the large cv housing bottoms out on the tranny seal...is that a normal distance? I never heard a click or snap telling me the shaft was in far enough, assistance is appreciated.

if it's not all the wat in you will no it.go around a block or 2 if it don't come out you got it all the way in. or you can jack front end up off the ground and if it don't fall out you do have it right....

Re: Halfshaft Installation Help
I replaced both sides on my 98 a week or so back. I didn't hear any noticeable click etc either. If it's not leaking fluid and it's moving you got it right. Good luck...
