2000 cavalier trans sometimes shifts late,(50 into high gear) sometimes very early (19 into high gear) any ideas to discuss with a mechanic

throttle pressure cable maybe? (i think thats whats its called) its the same thing as a kick down cable

Maybe look into the Torque converter and check tranny fluid levels?
