Wink 1997 Ford Escort Noise in Front End

My wifes car is making a loud roaring noise in the front end. I rotated the tires to see if that was the problems, and that wasn't it. Is there anything else that it could be so i can check that.

Re: 1997 Ford Escort Noise in Front End

You are going to have to give a better description of the problem. Does it happen at certain speeds? Does the sound change with speed? Left side or right side? Does the car drive normally in spite of the sound? Does it happen in reverse?
As of now I would suggest you check for a lion underneath the hood :P

Check the cooling fan for rubbing against the shroud.
