Renaissance Ferrari 500TRC

I bought this kit from Renaissance at Le Mans Classic this year and could not resist building it straight away, the car is just so beautiful.

At the first view the kit itself was not so beautiful, the body casting was quite rough, but actually cleaning was not that big job. When body prepping was done it was quite fun and straightforward build, only deviations from kit instructions that i made were painted black stripe instead of decal and the interior bulkhead that i glued to body instead of the chassis.

Very nice work. I really enjoy the colour scheme.

Re: Renaissance Ferrari 500TRC

Great job! It is a beautiful car. I just bought a Renaissance Ferrari 250 GT SWB California spider, and must say that it has a more accurate body than the Revell/Italeri California models. It will require some clean up, though.

Re: Renaissance Ferrari 500TRC

Nice looking car. I didnt buy this kit because the nose looks more OSCA than
Ferrari 500TRC. I wish someone would make a model with a correct body in 1/24th scale. Nice build. I think the 500 TRC is one of the best looking Ferrari's, even if it did only have 4 cylinders

Re: Renaissance Ferrari 500TRC

Looking good, but to bad that the black stroke isn't as crispy as it should be.

Nice. Everytime I see this car I think of James Bond movies.
