BBK Shorty Headers

Have an 06 Mustang installing BBK shorty headers. I find it impossable on the driver side to remove the stock exhaust manifold. What are the steps on removing the motor mount? I know that I must support the engine. Which bolts must I remove? I believe there are four on the mount to the engine block, any others?

Re: BBK Shorty Headers

did you do the pass side already? its harder, and stangs have tubular style manifolds, you dont get much from shorties on the newer cars, if you want headers go with LTs, otherwise just save the headache unless you have a crack in one of em or something, otherwise id try and return em or resell em

Re: BBK Shorty Headers

It's not too bad, it's just that a couple of bolts are very hard to get at. Are the long tubes any harder to install?
