Model range expansion
As an ever growing firm, Porsche is beginning to venture out into new territory. The Cayenne is on its way and the 911 will expand with the return of the Targa, S variants, and my new favorite, Turbo Cabriolet. And not to mention the 997 chassis will be here sooner than the previous wait for the 996.
How do you all feel of this? Will you take a purist standpoint, or accept the growth?

Meh, I think it's good fro Porsche but, I don't want to see the 911 leave, it's been around forever, is it the longest running production model? They also have to Boxster coupe and a planned 998, which is suposedly a successor to the 928 GTS.

Ah, I miss those 928s. It's going to be nice to see some of the 'old friendly faces' of Porsche, now that the 911 domination decade has come and gone. But that's not to say that the 911 is any less than it was before; it's still the king of the jungle of ALL Porsches, and nearly all of the other exotics in its classes.

i just can't beleive they're making the cayenne..... like what supercar manufacturer makes SUVs?! yuck, that's straying a little too far from the roots of the company
