94 engine in 91 300zx

Hi, i was just talking to a used parts dealer about buying a 94 300zx engine. But i was told that the 94 engine won't fit in my 91 300zx. Is this true? What will i need to make the engine work? I thought all i needed to do was change the efi connectors to the new style connectors. Any advice will be gladly welcome.

yes, you dont need to swap anything. maybe just buy some new injector harness clips for like 50$ but it depends if its a non turbo/turbo. it will bolt right up.
