1987 Voyager idleing high and quiting on left hand turns

I have a 1987 voyager van and when i make a left hand turn it quits. Then when I finally do get it running it idles high for a few minutes then it settles down. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My caravan was stalling on turns and it turned out to be my fuel pump.
I had to get it replaced.
