reliability and awd

I am getting mixed information. I have owned a 95 audi with the v6 engine and was the best car i owned. I am under the impression that audi is the only car with awd under $9000. I have a 01 passat turbo and I want to sell it for a awd car with no turbo. I don't care about speed just reliability. I am in Alaska. Are there any good cars out there? Are audi a4's and a6's with the v6 a good car? Is the passat 4motion v6 a better passat than my 01 turbo? I would like to go to a different brand if possible. I just don't think any other auto brand has awd cars. I know about subaru but the interior is so cheaply built.
