Engine Swap

opcorn: I have a who is going to try and swap the 3100 for a newer 3.4L . With some extra parts and some rehashing of pipes and the like. I am wondering if any one had heard of this being done. this could really be a good thread if people are willing to share ideas. The block is identical, the heads and intake are different. I am wondering what the air cleaner and duct will have to be done.

Re: Engine Swap

UPDATE****

I have a friend who completed the swap of a 3.4 for a 3100. the engine works, the long block is exactly the same. The problems he is running into are minor and things he forgot to do. I am looking for comments on what you have to say.
