Replacing Oil Filter on Buick Enclave?
My wife bought an Enclave and I am looking to change the oil and filter. The filter is in the front and if you remove it oil will get all over the frame and other pieces. Is there a trick to removing the filter without leaking oil everywhere. I can't get a funnel in there either. Thought I would ask here. Thanks.

Re: Replacing Oil Filter on Buick Enclave?
Wash it off with brake cleaner afterward, or use kitchen paper when spinning it off to catch the oil.
Do this numerous times a day, still trying to find a better method..

Re: Replacing Oil Filter on Buick Enclave?
Go out and get a takeout pizza for dinner. When you're done, cut the top off the box and use it as a shield so the oil runs down the box and into the catch pan.
Carefully slide the box top out when you're done and you should have a minimal mess to clean up. Bob |

I like that idea. Especially the ordering pizza bit..
