A little something for my 2000th post

I have been collecting car models now for about 20years, and Mclaren models since the late 1990's. For the Mclarens, I have got 2 1/12's in deep blue and yellow, and the rest are 1/18th scale.

The ones of most value are located in my house [out of the reach of the kids ] and these are the ones I have taken photo's of. I intend to go to my parents house over the weekend to photograph the rest of the collection of 1/18th Mclarens, so you will have to wait for those shots (there will be a few..... )

So, for now, say hello to the Yellow 1/12th F1

Deep Blue 1/12 F1

a special 1/18 'dealer edition'

3 together

More to follow over the weekend once I have ventured into here -

Re: A little something for my 2000th post

That's only part of it - I have over 100 models, not all Mclarens, all in my parents loft / my house. A few are 1/12 scale (f40 x 2, f50 x 2, GT40 etc) but the rest are 1/18th. Thomas has 3 of those so far, a yellow Dodge Viper, Bugatti EB110 and Lamborghini Countach for him to play with and knock around, but the rest are for keeps, and most have the boxes with the original price paid for them on the outside.

You know. It caught me off guard to see the chassis numbers and then pics of diecast cars. I would have never thought to associate the model cars with the respective chassis number. I had to laugh at myself because it makes perfect sense.

Thanks for sharing the pics Greg!

Wow, very nice collection!! :o Great pics, would love to have that GT

I've got some 25 1:18's (most of them are not special at all), but I've only got boxes for like 1/3 of them and we're moving
