speaker make noise.

hi, does any body know what wuold be wronw. the speaker on the passenger side makes some funny noise (statist) even with the radio off.

I am unsure of what noise you are hearing, but, I experience noise caused by some sort of interference from our cell phones, in particular usually, but not always,when you are going into and out of service areas. It makes no difference whether the radio is on or not, am or fm, does not seem to come through as band if you have a cd or tape playing. I know of no fix beyond removing of the cell phone/s. The first I experienced it was when we switched to Nextel from Sprint (pre merger), however, when we switched to AT&T several years later it occurred with those phones too.

Hi my 2002cx does the same thing also static even with radio off im looking for the problem also.
