engine problems

i have 1994 firebird formula1 with the LT1 it was parked for 2 year due to distributor problems i fixed that and then replaced the sprak plugs and wires now when i start the car it ildes rough but when put it in gear it bogs out and acts like it wants to die out and shakes real bad at low rpm but when when u get at higher rpm it shakes a little bit but dosent have the power that it should have what should i do to fix this problem ?

did you make sure to put the plug wires back on in the correct order?

did u leave gas in there for two years too. if so drain gas, put clean gas. next take off the air inlet tube at the throttle body and clean it real good with carb cleaner if u can't you will have to take it off and clean it u will need a new gasket also. prob be good idea to change fuel filter too just a thought. hope this helps
