Problem starting car

hey there! I have a 2001 olds alero and having problems starting it the odd time.....like hit or miss??? sometimes it fires right up and then other times it almost sounds like the battery is dead and wont start....try a few more times and fires right up as if the battery is fine?? any suggestions as to what might be causing this?

Do the dash lights come on at ignition to ON? Any SECURITY light on flashing or steady?

You can get the battery tested or check it with a meter (DMM).

All the normal lights come as if starts up normal but it is if the battery is dead but next time you start it it fires up right a way. The battery is good, it might be the cylinoid? i am going to bring the starter to a repair shop to day

I got the starter checked out and that was what it was.
