eletrical problem and anti freeze
I have a 1995 buick century.I have 3 questions if someone could answer them for me.first my drivers side window will roll down but it will go back up about half way and stop after a few minutes it will roll up a few inches and stop then in a few more minutes it will rollup a little more and then stop,I have to do this til it is all the way up,would that be a motor problem,my fan switch for heat and a/c will only work on high is it the switch or maybe something else.Recently I had to change the intake gasket on my engine I put in the green anti freeze instead of the Dex-cool,will this cause problems in the future or should I change back to the Dex-cool,I have the 3.1 engine in my car

Re: eletrical problem and anti freeze
question 1: It sounds like either the regulator is binding or the thermal limiter in the motor is tripping (which could be caused by a binding regulator or the motor itself)
question 2: This is most likely caused by a bad blower motor resistor, but could also be the switch question 3: As long as you flushed the system thoroughly, you'll be fine. The old green ethylene glycol antifreeze (very hard to find these days unless it was some old stock) will gel if mixed with Dex-cool, but if what you put in is the new yellow colored "mixes with everything" coolant you're fine.
