Unhappy E-brake causing ABS light?

'98 JGC 4.0 w/182k

Within the past 3 months my ABS light has came on about 4x. I know that my emergency brake is shot & was wondering if that could cause the ABS light to come on. The only other problem I have noticed with my brakes is shaking when braking at decent speeds.

Appreciate any ideas.

Re: E-brake causing ABS light?

no the e-brake would not causae any problems w/ your ABS light. The shaking is probably due to warped rotors. probably just a wheel speed sensor starting to go bad, you would have to get the codes read to be sure tho.
