Help!!Water dripping in pasanger comp with air

2004 Ion quad coup. When we run the air conditioning, water drips down an the pasangers feet. Park for a while and a significant puddle forms on the floor boards. I know it is condensation from the air conditioner, but this should be draining to the outside of the vehicle. There appears to be a drain through the cowl to the engine compartment. I have poked a wire through the feedthrough - it doesn't appear to be blocked. PLEASE - ANY sugguestions!!

It sounds like your drain line for the airconditioner is cloged,it is usually lacated on the passenger side in the engine conpartment.It's a small tube that comes from the airconditioner to the outside.It happened to me and I found that mud dobbers had gottin up in the tube and made a nest,once I cleaned it out there was no more dripping inside the car.Maybe will help you.

So am I looking for a rubber or plastic hose? I have allready run a wire through what appears to be a plastic feed through on the fire wall. There is no tube comming from it, it is more or less flush to the fire wall.

Hi ,Steve again,I hate to send you on a wild goose chase,but there is also the possibillity that the tubing has disconnected under the dash in the air condiitioner cavity itself,if so thats a real pain in the ---- .One more thing I just thought of, is that you may have developed a hole some where in the drain area it self.Other than that I'm like you ,help.
