RPMs
Hey guys what is y'alls RPM at Idle? My 1998 Lumina i noticed idles around 800 to 900 rpms. That seem low? Should it be at 1000 Rpms?

I finally got my 92 z34 to idle at a looooow rumbling and steady 600rpms. love my flowmasters...

850 for an automatic in neutral is correct....

850 is about right in neut. i was talking while in drive at a red light...
yes mine is an obd1, there is an adjustment under the hood for idle. altho it resets after so many starts. i have to relearn it again when it does it, otherwise i would just twist the bolt right off after so long... ![]() you cant really see it but its right below that black plate on the left...
