target the owners,not the dogs.

I say that the dogs should have been sent to jail and the owners put down.

Absolutely. Dog attacks on Children are to common these days. If it had been one of my three children then I'd have already dealt those two justice

That is just awful. The punishment for not controlling your pets should be a lot stiffer then a couple K of fines and a month in the pokie.

I agree with you again yogs....

Sadly, this is one of the stiffest penalties handed out in recent memory for negligent dog owners. How they have the brass balls to appeal the sentence after their stupid and selfish actions resulted in a child being seriously wounded beggars belief.

I know one thing is for sure, if any dog EVER attacked a child of mine or anyone in my family, that dog would be dead as fast as I could put it there and the owner would have a lawsuit for more than a couple K. Animals should not be dangerous, especially house pets. If someone has an animal that is not safe for other people to be around, it shouldnt be breathing, or at least should be somewhere where it wont be a hazard to anyone.
