I own a 1999 deville 77k, idle goes up and down, could it be the fuel pump, idles normal at times, also sometimes takes two starts to crank over. THANKS

Re: Deville Idle Up And Down At Times

Could be as simple as a dirty throttle body and plates.

Re: Deville Idle Up And Down At Times

there is an idle speed motor on the engine should be on the top with fairly easy access its round with a rod sticking out the top of it this controls the idle speed
