Seat Problem

I am having a problem with my passenger seat in my 95 silverado. I can not get it to lock so it just slides on the track, i looked at it and cant seem to find the probem. The tracks are greased up and nothing is blocking it i just cannot figure this out at all. Does anyone know the problem? It seems as if the prongs are not making all the way back to the slot for the seat to lock.

Re: Seat Problem

Is it doing this when you use the "easy-entry" to access the extended cab? Or is it when using the seat adjuster on the front of the seat cushion?

On mine (98 ex-cab) it wouldn't lock back when using the easy-entry lever. There was a loose bolt on the front about an inch or two above the carpet where the seat attaches to that raised metal frame that is attached to the floor/carpet. Best I could figure it wasn't keeping the seat tracks parallel but tightening it fixed it.
