noise from behind glove box
I have a 97 Grand Voyager and am experiencing a strange sound from behind the glove box for about 10 seconds after starting or turning the key to ACC.
I think it may have something to do with the actuators for the heating / cooling system. All funtions (vent positions) appear to work correctly. Is this perhaps a warning sign of impending problems in the future or just another noise to get used to from an 11 year old vehicle. Thanks. |

Re: noise from behind glove box
I think you may be correct, it is the air distribution motors resetting themselves and I do not believe this portends impending doom. On my '96 I hear that noise from time to time and on my '88 BMW 750 which I recently sold I heard the noise all of the time at both start up and shut down.
