Strange Paint Problem - Ack!

I have an '04 X-Type 3.0 Sport, black (ebony, as they call it), with the strangest paint behavior I've ever seen. I bought the car new, and it has not experienced anything like heavy hail, a pile of gravel, or anything unusual I'm aware of.

All the horizontal surfaces have literally hundreds of "lesions" that look like cat scratches (but aren't). They appear to be just in the clear coat, but I can't say for certain. Most are straight, in random directions, very fine, and most appear to have a tiny (1/4 or less of a pinhead) "spot" in the center of the line. Some of the blemishes have three of these lines radiating from the "spot". There a few on one side of the car, but the vertical panels in general seem to be ok.

Now, I've seen paint/coats fade, chip, or just plain peel off, but I've never seen anything like this. Neither has my favorite paint shop. Any ideas on what's happening to my car?
Thanks

Heat /Sun damage?

90f = 150f on your Hood,Trk,and Top of car.

I would check with car warranty.

Good Luck
