Question Rear Brake Detailed exploded view

Looking for some help on the rear brakes of my 1979 MG Midget. I was given the car and decided to do a little restoration. I believe the prior owner did not install the rear brakes correctly (rear drum). I was hoping to find a good picture on the proper spring, emergency brake lever, and pad orientation. Any help would be appreciated. I have a shop manual, however the detail is not very clear. Thanks

Which shop manual do you have? I have the factory one for a MGB and it shows the rear brakes in good detail.
