Red illumination Deck??

Hey guys, thought i'd give this question a shot and see if you can offer any advice....

I own a Pontiac so I've got the red interior guage and instrument panel lights. Was wondering if anyone knows of some high quality aftermarked decks that have red illumination and arent painfull to look at. I know some newer units IMO look like complete A$$. I wouldnt even mind ebaying a decent older deck as long as it looks nice in my car. Want something that compliments the interior look and would prefer it to be flush mounted. BTW, my interior is black, so a black deck with red illumination would be IDEAL...

Anyone have nice decks in their pontiac that they could quick snap a picture of so I can get some ideas of good decks.

I've had good luck with Pioneers and alpines and bad luck with Sony's. Anything else I know pretty much nothing about.

Thanks for any advice guys, I really appreciate it.

Re: Red illumination Deck??

most of the older Denon decks were red lighting. They were good units and pleasant to look at.

Agreed! I'm just considering something that has red illumination, a good easy to read display, and a knob for volume.

Still deciding if I'd rather lose my Heads Up Display radio display and get an aftermarket deck, or just have the one I got now refurbished. Plus if I did get an aftermarket, I would have to install an interface to get the steering wheel controlls to work.

Not sure which one I want to do yet.

Re: Red illumination Deck??

can't say that I have even heard of one. Most cars now have steering wheel controls so the sales are there, very few have HUD's so the sales potential would be quite low.
