will not start
Hello,
Request your help. My 89 Firebird will not start when the engine is hot, I have to wait 20 or so minutes to cool off before it starts again. Appreciate the tips. Thanks, john |

Re: will not start
Kind of slim on info. Does it shutoff on its own when it get hot? If so I would have to start with the ignition control module.

Re: will not start
Check for voltage at the starter when turning the key to statrt. Voltage yes=bad starter. Voltage no = electrical problem.

Re: will not start
Also check the positive wire from the battery to the starter, it may show voltage but can't carry a load when hot (breaking down internally).
