Lebaron conv. rear window question

So what is the actual size of the rear back window for the 88 Lebaron? Does it come with a frame around it? How does it fit and attach to the convertible top? Zipper? I have the window itself but its too small, i'm guessing it needs some kind of frame?
Thanks.

Re: Lebaron conv. rear window question

The rear windows on the convertibles could roll up and down. There is a molding strip that goes on the front edge of the window. Here's a picture of the window installed on the car with the top down.

Re: Lebaron conv. rear window question

The rear glass is glued to its own seperate piece of canvas, I once worked on a 91 LeBaron, on that car, the glass canvas was held on by a zipper on the top and bolts at the bottom. Easy to remove. However, on my 93 LeBaron, the glass canvas piece is either stitched or glued onto the rest of the canvas. However, now that I think about it, I have a custom red cloth top on my car, the glass canvas is obviously the original black vinyl canvas whatever it's called. If someone replaced the canvas without replacing the glass canvas, that must mean that it is still removable SOMEhow, despite the fact that it has no zipper. Anyhow, your car is older, so it should have the zipper.
