99 Burban Oil leak at Oil filter housing??

Hey all got a 99 1500 Burb with a 5.7 oil leak. Rear main was replaced before I got it but back of the oil pan is wet. The oil filter housing is leaking also what is in volved in fixing that? How do the lines come off from the housing? I checked the intake and no there is no oil coming down from it. I just wonder if the pan gasket was disturbed when the rear main was done.

Most likely the oil filter adapter gasket is leaking. The gasket is cheap, maybe $5.

Drain the oil, remove the filter, remove the two allen head screws inside the filter adapter. The old gasket is hard and crumbly. Replace it and reassemble. Take note: one of the allen head screws is longer than the other.
