Does "Herbie" fit here

This is a Polar Lightkit that I bought to build straight out of the box.

But the decals was just self adhesive paper so I didn't want to build it. I found that there were decals to be found on E-bay

Earlier I bought a can of Tamiya racing White but it turned out to be something else then a true white. I decided to use it on this quick build.

I nicked the wheels for another project so I used wider wheels from a Monogram '57 Chevy Nomad and the hub caps from
the 1975 issue of the Revell Herbie since the Polar Light kit didn't have any VW-logos anywere in the kit.

I did backdate the rear a little with plastic card and a part from an old Pyro VW-kit.

I should really build some wind screen wipers for it and I think that the car is to clean as well.

I loved these movies when I was a kid. Nice job you did with this.
