Suspension Issues (possibly)

I have a '99 Alero v6 and it's always had issues with tire pressure. I try to keep up with filling them but I normally have to do it about every 2 weeks. I got a flat Friday pulling out of my driveway (thank god) but was unable to do anything about it until Sunday because of work. I left the car jacked up for like an hour when I went to get the new tire, and I was only able to find a similar sized tire (same height, the guy said it would work fine). Now that the new tire is on the right side of my car seems significantly lower, and if I drive it makes a strange noise when I turn. It also smoked a little bit after I drove down my street and smelled of burning rubber (rather distinctly). The right side doesnt seem to have any bounce and I was wondering if it might be a suspension issue. Thanks for the help!

Well I would say if it is smoking and smelling like burning rubber you have to have a rub somewhere. If you are moving down the street just fine(That tire isn't flopping around and it is not locking up) it seems like it is rubbing against something, getting hot, and burning a little.

Yeah that makes sense. The issue is really what's causing it. Like I said the right side of the car is significantly lower than the left, That's why I was wondering if the suspension could be the issue. The tire itself seems fine.
