Question Cleaning Goop out of Motor

I have read that if you pour a quart of Transmission fluid in your crank, then let the car run for a few minutes, and then change your oil and filter that it will actually do a good job cleaning up some of your internals. Apparently T-fluid has some solid internal cleaning detergents in it. I have not done this, nor am I suggesting anyone do this yet. I would like to get an opinion on this process. Does anyone have any thoughts on this one?

engine oil gets very hot trans fluid is not designed to handle the high temps...marvel mystrey oil or other product will safely remove engine sludges...

I use marvel 5oz per 5quarts 1oz/quart this when used with changing oil when hot will safely remove all the goop...slow removal over a few oil changes every 1,ooomi is best...otherwise you can get things plugged up...

simply pour a can of seafoam into the crank and drive on it. i drive anywhere between a 1000 to 2000 miles, you can just do 500. then drain, refill with cheapest oil in your weight, run engine for 15 minutes, drain, replace filter with Mobil1 and refill with the best oil you can efford(amsoil is my choice).

i have been doing seafoam for yrs. it is, actually, designed and safe to be driven on.
