Flowmaster 40 muffler (dual out) + 2 cherrybombs?
Okay if I use the Flowmaster 40 muffler ($87 = same as crappy GM replacement part anyway), then add 2 cherrybombs (one for each side out), can I have the best of both worlds, with maximum power/torq/mpg and also cut the noise down (using the cherrybombs)?
My idea is that the cherrybombs won't impede airflow much, but by themselves they don't cut down the sound enough. But in series with the Flowmaster, I might get a good balance of both power throughput and noise reduction...(the cherrybombs should take off a significant edge from the Flowmaster 40... Any thoughts? I have to redo the exhaust train anyway...its been patched for now, but rust is eating it away. |
