2 Questions: How to change cabin air filter and change heater control?
First off, car is an '03 Impala with a 3.4 L and the dual zone heater control.
Any how to steps to change cabin air filter? I'm getting the stale odor when you first turn on the A/C or heat. I've never changed the filter. Next, any how to steps to pull out the heater control in the center console? My blower motor is intermittent in the 1-4 positions and a slight tap in the know sometimes fixes the problem. I got a used heater control I want to swap in. However, after reading on here, I may need to look at the blower motor resistor (I think it was called) if the control doesn't fix my problem. I used the search functions but haven't found any tips to change the above parts. Thanks, Ed |
