RIP my escort gone forever
Here in RI July 23rd we had one of those once in a lifetime storms around here. Hail rain small tornado. I less then 15 minutes the roads had much rain to much for the drains to handle. My car was sucked in and drowned in one such puddle/pond. I was less then 5 miles from home and when I left the house it wasn't raining yet. Thankfully, my Children were ok and got to high ground. I was the first to say I no way wanted a ford and not an escort. I seen this 1999 2.0 sohc 5 speed and like it. I grew to like this car more and more and it was good to me never broke down once.(after a computer problem in the begining) I bought it used for 2,000.00 with 77k miles. I owned it for 4 years and had 123k.

Re: RIP my escort gone forever
Too bad about your Escort. I remember your posts about how to remove and replace the radio and I remember your post about putting a ram cold air intake on it, too. Thanks for the update. What a waste.
