I'm looking for more HP and better gas milage what should I do?

I have been looking at performance chips and cold air intakes for my '03 v6 grand am. I don't know exactly what to look for. I don't want to go over the top with expenses but want that little bit extra for the car. Any suggestions?

Welcome to AF !!

A CAI and maybe an exhaust upgrade first, then a DHP PCM so you can get the most out of your mods.

Now these modifications wont always get you better MPG mainly because you drive it harder , but if driven sensibly should increase economy.

I just recently added headers to my GA GT and if I keep my foot out of it , I'm getting 24-25 mpg in the city!
