And the trophy goes to...
As some of you may know I went to the Model Expo in Melbourne on the weekend and entered my latest model in the competition. First time I'd entered a competiotin since I was a kid so didn't expect much.
So was amazed to show up in the final day and discover my NZ Pug had taken out first prize in the "Competition - Modified" category  Most chuffed!Collected a trophy and everything   The main focus of the Expo was military modelling, especially aircraft - it being the 100th year of poweered flight and all. However the automotive turnout was pretty decent and there were some very nice models about. Took plenty of pictures, anybody interested in seeing some?

Congratulation Phil,
but no be so surprise !!! you pug is A F......G MASTERPIECE OF WORK !!!!! And i am sure that if you go to TamiyaCon at NZL showing the car and all progress pics on a board you will got the first price !!! no progress on mitsi ? Don't want to start your xsara ;-) PS : Renaissance will have in production the decal for the 2003 xsara

Congrats on your win, its nice to see a competition winning model that hasnt got wings and a fan on the front like you see at too many of these shows, the modelling scene isnt wholly for 1/72 scale german fighters, although sometimes you have to wonder. Anyway keep up the great work
