nose bra

I just purchased a very clean 03 S60. I'll be doing a lot of serious highway driving this year. I am looking for a Nose Mask(bra) for this body style to protect the paint (already have a few chips in only two weeks) . The only one my dealer suggested was from ipdusa.com. They do have the product in stock, but there are no photos showing it on a car. Does anyone have experience with their product or know of a better one? A photo sure would help.
Has anyone put on the mud flaps from Volvo. The price is not bad. Just looking to prevent tar and gravel damage.
And how about the sunroof wind deflector-do they actually do anything for the passengers inside the cockpit??
Thanks!

Re: nose bra

I cannot help you with the bra. The Volvo mudflaps are pretty good and molded to fit the car and protect the body. The sunroof wind deflector does not make any improvements and will actually hurt fuel mileage.

Re: nose bra

Thanks for the reply. I may try the mudflaps. I sent an e-mail to ipdusa.com but did not receive a response about the Nose bra.
So far this is a great road car..
Thanks again.

Re: nose bra

Hello. I have had two Volvos before, but my nosebra experience was with one of my Pontiacs. We thought that the nosebra was as tight as we could get it to go, but apparently not. It had just a slight amount of wind vibration at high speeds. Later, when we removed it, we had to repaint the front nose of the car from where the vibration wore away the paint by abrasion.
