in addition to my 2000 silverado I own A 96 IMPALA SS this dash got discolored....so with some tips I picked up I found that the use of leather/vinyl dyes are the proper agents to use for restoring the dash finish...

I purchased these products from leather technologies located in roanoke virgina....these products can also be used to repair leather finish on your vehicle...

I removed the dash and after applying 5 coats of dye the impala dash was restored to new local automotive repair shops had no idea what I was talking about !!!!!!

total cost 35.oo and a few hours work....cleaning the surface is very important I used dish soap wash then alcohol ....
