Delay wipers issue

Hey all. Getting the gp fixed up now. Been hitting up the local u pull it salvage yard! Anyways first time I had the gp in the rain I discovered a new problem. The wiper delay. The wipers work just fine when mist, wash, low or high is used. When using the delay function they just kind of keep running they might stop occasionally but usually just keep running. What exactly needs to be replaced?

Maybe your multifunction switch is starting to go.

Quite possible it is the delay board in the wiper motor. Take a close look at the solder joints on the circuit board. take a pencil iron to each joint, a cold joint is fairly easy to tell...
