Radio and Horn not working

1987 caprice classic v-8 305



i just got my car from getting rust repaired and painted but now my horn and radio arent working, i replaced the radio fuse and still nothing. im going to take the head unit out and check to see if the shop broke it. but any other ideas?



is there a fuse box in the engine bay.

The horn's real easy to check at the unit, do that before you take out your radio.

No, there is no fuse or relay box under the hood. The fuse block is against the firewall under the dash, and there is a bulkhead connector on the back of it that passes to the wiring harness under the hood. There is a 10mm head bolt on the connector, in the center, that holds it all together. Take this bolt off and remove the wiring harness connector and then reinstall it all. You might have a corroded connection here.

i get on work in 3 hours ill check that.

i figured it out, i replaced every fuse and it worked even tho none of them were blown.
