Beeping
Help........
I have a beeping sound that won’t stop. It’s a series of 5 beep pause, 5 beeps pause and another 5 beeps. I have no message on my message board. I don’t know what it could be. I have checked everything you can think of from doors to filter and nothing!! This problem juts started yesterday. I turned my car on put my seatbelt on and the beeps started. I hit the reset button and the beeps stopped temporarily. This morning the same problem continued. It stopped for a while but about 30 minutes into my drive it started again. Can anyone shed some light on this annoying problem? PLEASE! |

Re: Beeping
Welcome to the forum!
The beeping usually indicates that you have a bulb in the instrument cluster that is not working, often for the SRS/airbag. When you turn the key to the run position without starting your car it should perform a bulb test. Do all the normal lights come on such as "Check Engine" "SRS" and "ABS"? -Rod |

Re: Beeping
Thank you so much for the quick responce!I will check on that today. Hopefully it’s just as simple as a light bulb change. As soon as I check on that I will give you an update. Thanks again.

Re: Beeping
I too have this issue, 20 seconds after the car is started the beeps commence. Their is 5 sets of 5 beeps, with about a four second pause in between each set. After it completes it's 5 sets they are gone and do not reappear until approximately a half hour later, where they will go through the cycle again. Let me know what you find out is causing this issue, I too will check my dashlights, I'm thinking it could possibly be an airbag spring.
